Top Dolla was released from his WWE contract last year, making it the second time he has faced this situation. Since then, he has been thriving in other promotions, but it appears that Dolla has claimed the door remains open for a potential return to WWE.

The former WWE Superstar wasted no time making an impact after he made his debut at GCW. Now known as AJ Francis, he would also become a star in TNA Wrestling, something that he appreciates Scott D’Amore for.

While speaking on The Angle Podcast, AJ Francis discussed whether the door to WWE is still open for him. He shared that he has been in touch with key figures like Paul Heyman and Triple H, and maintains communication with everyone there. However, he is currently focused on pursuing his own path.

Francis explained that if people previously viewed him as just the “big man” in Hit Row, they were mistaken. He emphasized that his current work in TNA showcases his abilities far beyond that role. He credited Tommy Dreamer for ensuring he gets the opportunity to speak on every episode, where he has significant talking segments and consistently delivers impressive performances.

He confidently stated that there has never been anyone better at talking than him and that he thrives when given a microphone. He challenged anyone who doubts his skills to stand six feet away from him with a microphone and see the difference.

“Yeah, I mean I talked to Paul Heyman and Triple H last week. I still am in communication with everybody there. The thing is, I’m just doing my own thing right now. Before, if you thought that I was just the heavy big man in a crew and just stand there and look big and be that person in Hit Row, if you thought that, you were wrong then. But if you pay attention right now, you’ll see exactly how wrong you are. The best thing that happened to me in TNA is Tommy Dreamer will make sure I get a mic every single episode. I talk every single episode. I have major talking segments in huge spots, and I kill them because there’s no one that talks better than me. There never has been. The fact is, I need a mic. If you give me a mic, I’ll show you that I’m better than everybody else you got. If anyone thinks I’m not, stand six feet away from me with a microphone in your hands, and let’s just see what happens.”

We will have to wait and see when AJ Francis will make his return to WWE somewhere down the line, as he is clearly having a great time in various other promototions in the meantime.
