TNA Wrestling has gone through a tremendous amount of change over the past 12 months. Scott D’Amore is no longer running the company’s creative direction, as Anthem Sports Group decided to go another direction.

Rob Kligman, who became the chief revenue officer at Anthem Sports Group in June 2024, aims to enhance the distribution of TNA Wrestling.

Kligman is a former WWE executive, as former Vice President, Global Digital & Integrated Sales. He is currently focused on leveraging both OTT platforms and traditional broadcast channels to reach a wider audience.

In an interview with EssentiallySports, Kligman emphasized the importance of OTT for content distribution, noting how it provides opportunities that weren’t available 15-20 years ago.

“OTT has given us an outlet that was previously non-existent. It’s simple and powerful, especially for content-driven opportunities. However, while OTT is vital, it’s not the only factor. We aim to secure a distribution deal that combines both OTT and broadcast to maximize our reach.”

Kligman’s strategy reflects a modern approach to media distribution, recognizing the strengths of both digital and traditional channels to expand TNA Wrestling’s audience. We will have to see how it all pans out for everyone involved.

TNA Wrestling and WWE NXT are also having a very interesting partnership right now. It remains to be seen where that will all escalate to, and what the true intention of that deal is for both parties. Either way, it got us Joe Hendry on NXT, so fans are happy.

What’s your take on TNA’s new approach for the future? Are you surprised that the company is still around? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
