TNA Wrestling stars have recently attracted significant attention within the industry as part of the ongoing collaboration with WWE NXT. However, the musical sensation Joe Hendry stands out prominently among them all.

Joe Hendry stunned the audience with his unexpected appearance at NXT Heatwave, but the surprises didn’t stop there. On the July 9th episode of WWE NXT, Hendry was introduced as Trick Williams’ surprise tag team partner. The duo faced Shawn Spears and NXT Champion Ethan Page, securing victory when Hendry pinned Spears for the decisive win.

With his popularity skyrocketing, in recent interview with WhatCulture, current TNA World Champion Moose believes Joe Hendry is on the verge of becoming the next John Cena. Moose acknowledged his hard work, something he believed people were unaware of, and revealed that he always sought advice from veterans on improving himself as an in-ring competitor.

“Yeah, I believe in Joe Hendry. I think Joe Hendry is on the cusp of being the next John Cena. He has worked his ass off. His story and journey show that hard work pays off. Many people don’t know the effort Joe Hendry put in, the questions he asked, and how he cornered older guys in the locker room, asking them how to improve.”

Joe Hendry also mentioned that his appearance on this week’s episode of NXT was last-minute decision. Regardless, fans will have to wait and see when Hendry will next appear on WWE television, as his star is undoubtedly shining brightly right now, and Moose could match the level of star power that John Cena has built over the years.
