The Von Erichs Announce Signing Short-Term Deal With AEW

The popular generational tag team, Von Erichs, is set to make its return to Texas for AEW’s upcoming events. AEW has previously announced the Path To All In Summer Series, with events at Esports Stadium Arlington starting July 20.

Ross and Marshall Von Erich, on their The Von Erich Podcast, hinted at a major announcement, revealing their return to AEW for the upcoming shows slated to take place in their home state of Texas.

“On Saturday, we will be returning to AEW. I don’t know if we can share the other dates. Next couple of Saturdays. It’s the 20th [of July]. We’re super pumped. We’re super excited.”

When asked about their contract status, Marshall confirmed that they had signed on with Tony Khan’s company for a few matches rather than a full contract.

“Yeah, we signed some matches. We did sign for a few matches, but we’ll see what comes from this. Be ready for some more announcements and all that, but we’re gonna go down there and show them why when you’re in Texas, you have to have the Von Erichs.”

With The Von Erichs set to return to their home state as part of a short-term deal with AEW after previous appearances for them, it will be interesting to see the hometown tag team add more star power and credibility to the upcoming All Elite shows.
