Ronda Rousey departed WWE following her SummerSlam match against Shayna Baszler last year and it became apparent she isn’t very popular with WWE fans. That’s also the case with MMA fans in general and Rousey has now revealed the condition for her to make future appearances at UFC shows.

Before her venture into WWE, Ronda Rousey had already carved out a legendary reputation in the UFC, picking up multiple titles and securing a prestigious spot in the UFC Hall of Fame.

While speaking to CBSSports.com, Ronda Rousey talked about what it would take for her to attend a UFC event again. She expressed a preference for spending time on her farm or at the beach and mentioned that she would need a compelling reason to attend. Rousey stated that she might consider going if her kids or someone she coached ended up fighting.

Rousey acknowledged that attending UFC events is not really her scene anymore. Reflecting on her younger days, Rousey noted that she used to enjoy dressing up and socializing at fights, but now she prefers staying home and sipping tea. She emphasized that she would need a specific reason to attend, perhaps similar to how her own mother got back into judo when Rousey began participating.

“I’d rather be out and on my farm or on the beach or something else like that. I think I’ll need to have a reason to go. I don’t know if my kids end up fighting or something like that or someone I end up coaching ends up fighting, I would go, but I don’t know. It’s not really my scene anymore. When I was younger, I wanted to put on a hot dress and go to the fights and hang out with everybody. Now I’m just an old lady who wants to sit at home and sip tea. Plus, I wouldn’t want to go just to like, ‘Ooh, I wonder how people will react to me.’I would want to have a reason to go, but we’ll see. I’ll play it by ear. If my kids want to fight, they would be absolutely incredible. That’s how my mom got dragged back into judo. She quit judo and then she never went to a tournament again. Then I got into it and she was very much involved again. So if my kids or if my kids from my dojo end up getting into it, then I would have a reason.

Ronda Rousey also made it clear she doesn’t like UFC fans in general, and Dana White already confirmed Ronda Rousey will never return to the UFC. Regardless, Rousey is now focusing on other avenues besides MMA and professional wrestling and that’s all that matters to her.
