Natalya’s WWE Contract Status As Deal Expires

WWE has been handling their Superstars’ contracts differently since Endeavor took over and merged them with the UFC. This has already led to a few shocking exits, and now, another veteran might be on her way out. Natalya’s contract status remains unchanged, raising questions about her future with the company.

Natalya’s current deal with WWE is set to expire soon, and despite being offered a new contract, she has yet to sign it. Reports as early as April indicated that the former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion is nearing the end of her contract.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there is “nothing new” to report regarding Natalya’s WWE contract situation. Her deal is still set to expire sometime in the summer. Former Executive Vice President of Talent Dan Ventrelle has been previously blamed as a likely reason why Natalya and many other WWE stars reached the end of their deals without new negotiations.

Despite holding several Guinness World Records for her work in the company, Natalya has played a minor role on WWE TV in 2024. Most of her matches have taken place at WWE live events, in dark matches, and on WWE Main Event. However, she has been featured in the Queen of the Ring tournament, the women’s Royal Rumble match, and some high-profile matches on WWE NXT, where she challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship on April 9.

As of this writing, Natalya’s last match in WWE was on April 6, 2024, where she defeated Izzi Dame on WWE NXT. We will have to see what she does next in her career, but the Queen of Harts may find herself wrestling elsewhere if she wants to continue her in-ring career.

Natalya is already a shoo-in for the WWE Hall of Fame, and she has appeared in numerous WWE television shows, including Total Divas, where she was a featured star. The company has changed a lot in the past few years, and this may lead to us saying goodbye to Natalya as a WWE Superstar. Regardless of what happens, Natalya Neidhart will continue to thrive.
