Chelsea Green has gained recognition as one of WWE’s most eye-catching stars and she has a very high opinion of the WWE women’s division. In fact, she has addressed WWE potentially introducing new women’s titles as well.

Rumors have been swirling about WWE potentially adding Women’s United States and Intercontinental Titles to their roster. It was also reported that while nothing has been officially confirmed, there have been internal discussions within the company about introducing these new championships.

While speaking to The Masked Man Show, Chelsea Green shared her thoughts on reports of WWE considering secondary women’s titles for the main roster. She clarified that she was not revealing any insider information but rather reacting to the same online reports that everyone else sees.

Green was definitely excited and supported the idea, acknowledging that while it hasn’t been confirmed, she hopes it becomes a reality. She believes that having more spotlight on the women’s division is long overdue and would be a positive step forward.

Green emphasized that introducing another title would provide opportunities for women who may not yet be seen as main event talents. She mentioned that there are many talented women in WWE who need more chances to showcase their abilities and develop their characters. A new title could elevate these mid-level competitors and help fans see their potential as future champions.

Well first of all, I don’t know that it’s been confirmed because I don’t know it (Green reacted to reports of WWE discussing secondary women’s titles for main roster). I only saw it on the internet. Whatever you guys are reading, I’m also reading too. I mean, of course I’m hoping and praying that that’s true because any more kind of spotlights that the women can get would be amazing. I do think it’s long overdue. Again, it’s just another step in the right direction. I didn’t even think this could happen two years ago and then now I’m like, yeah, of course it’s happening. It has to happen now that it’s on the internet.

We need this to happen. Obviously, I think it would be amazing to showcase the women that could be the champions in the future but maybe we don’t see them in that light right now. Maybe we see them as kind of floaters or maybe they haven’t locked down their character, maybe they’re a funny girl, hmm, maybe me. There’s all these women that I just feel like, we have so much talent and we’re not able to showcase it all the time and so, putting another title in the mix, I think would just up the ante for that kind of mid-level girl who we know we can elevate them, we know they can get there. But maybe the fans don’t believe in them yet. Maybe they need that championship to showcase it; they can really lead a division. I think if this comes to fruition, this will be a game changer for the women’s locker room on Raw and SmackDown.

In the meantime, Chelsea Green also wants WWE to bring back the Divas Championship. Of course, NXT has successfully introduced the NXT Women’s North American Championship, which has quickly gained popularity. Therefore, fans are speculating whether RAW and SmackDown will follow suit with their own mid-card titles for the women’s divisions. However, some believe that the current rosters might not be robust enough to support the effective introduction of these new titles so we’ll have to see what WWE will do in the end.
