Brooks Jensen, a rising star in NXT, has been showcasing his promising talent. This week, he had a crucial meeting on NXT where he successfully saved his job. However, Jensen has expressed his displeasure with his current WWE theme song, which was originally used in WWE 2K20.
During the July 9 episode of WWE NXT, Brooks Jensen had a sit-down meeting with NXT General Manager Ava. They discussed the challenges he has faced, including losing his tag team and feeling abandoned. Ava disclosed that she and Shawn Michaels had contemplated releasing him but ultimately decided against it due to positive feedback.
Ava emphasized the importance of Brooks carrying himself like an NXT Superstar. The meeting ended with a handshake. Later in the show, Brooks Jensen made a statement by attacking Je’Von Evans.
Jensen, known for frequently expressing his frustrations on social media, recently responded to a fan on Twitter who pointed out that one of his solo theme songs was identical to the one used by “Misfit Molly,” a version of Becky Lynch created for WWE 2K20.
Jensen replied that this was the reason for his irritation, and that he should have stuck with “Separate Ways.” In case you didn’t know, Jensen used the Journey song “Separate Ways” for a dark match in 2023.
”You get why I’m piss now. Should’ve went my Separate Ways”
We will have to wait and see how WWE continues to book Brooks Jensen in the coming weeks. It is clear that he is drawing heavily from the ‘Loose Cannon’ Brian Pillman, and fans are eager to see what he does next.
