WWE RAW is moving to Netflix in 2025, which will bring a lot of eyes to the company on the giant streaming platform. Many stars are expected to return, as WWE wants to put its best foot forward, but there is still a big question mark regarding Brock Lesnar.
Recent updates indicate that Lesnar’s return is not imminent. WWE continues to maintain a distance from Lesnar due to the sex trafficking lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon and WWE, in which a former WWE/UFC Heavyweight Champion was named.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that although John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and even The Rock will be back for the road to WrestleMania 41, which will air on Netflix, the same is not certain about Lesnar. Unless those legal issues are settled, Lesnar may not show up on Netflix either.
“WWE looks very strong with the Netflix transition since Johnson will be back for WrestleMania with Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns will be back, as will Cena. The only question mark of the stars of that era would be Lesnar, based on the legal issues, and perhaps Undertaker, who likely wouldn’t wrestle, but would also likely do something early in the Netflix run.”
We were told in late May that there are no signs internally that Brock Lesnar is on his way back to WWE any time soon. That being said, his comeback would likely bring a huge pop from live fans and a boost in viewership. Of course, viewership ratings will become a thing of the past on Netflix, as the streaming giant doesn’t typically reveal viewership numbers.
Brock Lesnar is a shoo-in for the WWE Hall of Fame, but his involvement in Janel Grant’s lawsuit might hamper his chances. Only time will tell what happens next, but WWE is heading to Netflix in 2025, where they will undoubtedly put on the best shows possible.
