Jay White advanced to the semi-finals of the Owen Hart Cup tournament and faced off against Adam Page, where he ultimately lost the match and suffered injuries as part of their storyline. However, it appears a major development took place concerning the Bang Bang gang during the latest set of AEW Collision tapings.

During the latest set of AEW Collision tapings for the July 13th episode, Juice Robinson and The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) defeated Shaun Moore, Michael Allen Richard Clark, and a local wrestler.

It was confirmed that the Bang Bang Gang were no longer the AEW Unified World Trios Champions. Christopher Daniels took action by stripping Jay White, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn of the Trios titles. This decision came after the group attempted to invoke the Freebird rule to substitute Jay White with Juice Robinson as champion.

Jay White had been sidelined due to injuries sustained from his Owen Hart Foundation tournament semifinal match against Hangman Page on last week’s Collision.

Daniels then announced a future match to determine the new champions, pitting Robinson & The Gunns against The Patriarchy trio of Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne. The date for this championship bout is yet to be announced, but it is expected to be taking place soon.

We will have to wait and see whether The Patriarchy will end up becoming the new AEW Unified Trios Champions, as they have expressed their desire to win the titles for a long time now.
