Fans of the classic Playstation game series ‘Twisted Metal’ were eagerly waiting to see the series based on the game, which aired on Peacock. The series ended up receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike. And now it appears multiple WWE talent auditioned for a role in the upcoming second season.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that Omos, Cedric Alexander, and Apollo Crews auditioned for the role of Axel in the ‘Twisted Metal’ series. However, production is moving forward without casting any WWE talents in the role.

Season two of the ‘Twisted Metal’ series, airing on Peacock, is set to film in Toronto starting later this month, with filming expected to continue through October at least as well.

We have also reported that Samoa Joe was written off television during the July 10th edition of AEW Dynamite in order to film season 2 of ‘Twisted Metal,’ so we’ll have to see when he will return to AEW television.
