Mercedes Mone Issues TBS Title Open Challenge for Anyone But Britt Baker on 7/17 AEW Dynamite

Mercedes Mone planned a huge celebration on AEW Dynamite last week, but much like at Double or Nothing, it was interrupted by Dr. Britt Baker. After the event of Dynamite this week, she issued an open challenge for her title for anyone but Britt Baker.

During the July 10 edition of AEW Dynamite, Mone hosted a double championship victory toast to celebrate her big win. She assured everyone that, courtesy of The Young Bucks, there would be no interruptions this time. During the toast, Mone berated Britt Baker about a potential match at AEW All-In.

This provoked The Doctor, who took out the security and stormed the ring. Mercedes Mone escaped through the crowd, leaving Baker to receive an ovation from the audience, determined not to stop until she gets the match she wants.

Mercedes Mone took to Twitter and issued an open challenge for the AEW TBS Championship for the July 17 episode of AEW Dynamite. She clarified that it was open to any woman on the AEW roster except Britt Baker.

”To celebrate #AEWDynamite250 next week in Little Rock, I am going to have an open challenge for my TBS Title. The challenge is open to any woman on the AEW Roster except @RealBrittBaker”

We will have to wait and see how AEW will continue to book Mercedes Mone and Britt Baker’s feud in the coming weeks, as it is quite clear they will eventually do battle at AEW All In next month.
