Chris Jericho takes immense pride in his work with AEW and isn’t shy about expressing it. Known for his love of competing globally, it was no surprise when he made a shocking appearance at CMLL Viernes Espectacular. Jericho has now confirmed the date of his upcoming match at CMLL, further showcasing his dedication to wrestling on an international stage.
In case you forgot, Chris Jericho made a surprise appearance at the CMLL event on June 28, where he attacked Mistico and issued a challenge for a match. This marked Jericho’s first appearance at Arena Mexico since 1995, adding to the excitement of the event.
On the July 10 edition of CMLL Informa, Chris Jericho sent a message to Mistico, confirming their match at CMLL’s 91st Anniversary show on Friday, September 13. Jericho stated that he needed to prove he was better than Mistico, declaring that Mistico was not on his level.
Chris Jericho then described it as one of the biggest matches in the history of Mexico. It is to be noted that the match will be Jericho’s first time competing in Arena Mexico since 1995.

We will have to wait and see how Chris Jericho will fare against Mistico on the September 13th match, as fans are undoubtedly excited to see what Jericho will be able to accomplish at the event.
