Scottish Soccer Team Glasgow Rangers in Talks with WWE Over Potential Collaborations

The Clash at The Castle Premium Live Event took place on June 15 from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland and there were a lot of memorable moments in the show and the event had a long-lasting impression, as it appears the Glasgow Rangers football club are in talks with WWE over potential collaborations.

The Premium Live Event had tons of sold matches, as Sami Zayn retained his Intercontinental Championship, while Bayley also retained her WWE Women’s Championship. Damian Priest would retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after CM Punk’s interference.

At WWE Clash at the Castle, there was controversy surrounding merchandise that closely resembled the home kit of Glasgow Rangers football team, formerly known as Rangers. The design was eventually withdrawn.

During a Rangers fan advisory board meeting, WWE’s name came up, and Rangers expressed openness to collaborating with the sports entertainment giant. Natalie Nairn, Rangers’ Business Growth Director, mentioned that discussions are underway with WWE regarding potential collaboration. She acknowledged the interest in expanding their connection with WWE following the incident involving the Clash at the Castle merchandise.

“CH [Craig Hannah] mentioned the WWE ‘Clash at the Castle’ top being dropped due to its resemblance to the Rangers strip and asked if there was any chance of expanding the link with WWE.

NN [Natalie Nairn] advised that this is scope to look at a collaboration and are in contact with WWE.”

We will have to wait and see whether WWE and The Glasgow Rangers will end up working together eventually, as WWE is continuously expanding its business in various avenues now.
