Several stars in TNA have recently gained significant momentum in the industry, with Joe Hendry standing out prominently. His rise has been so impactful that nearly everyone in the business has started believing in him. It seems he has taken a page from John Cena’s playbook, further boosting his popularity and influence.

On the June 18th episode of NXT, the opening lines of “I Believe in Joe Hendry” echoed through the arena to a thunderous ovation from the live crowd as Joe Hendry made his entrance on NXT. Hendry then followed it up with subsequent appearances at NXT Heatwave and the July 9th WWE NXT.

In case you didn’t know, John Cena confirmed that he would be retiring from in-ring competition. Interestingly enough, Joe Hendry took to his Instagram and decided to take a page from Cena’s playbook as he uploaded a cryptic post of John Cena at Money in the Bank with no caption, similar to what Cena does with his Instagram posts.

Joe Hendry also made it clear that he does envision a match with John Cena in the future, so we will have to wait and see if the two will cross paths one day, as Cena will retire in December 2025, so there’s enough time for a match.
