Alicia Fox was one of the bigger names in the WWE women’s division at one point in time but she finally parted ways with the company last year. Fox has been training in other promotions after her departure and she has now expressed an interest in joining TNA Wrestling.
Alicia Fox enjoyed a lengthy career in WWE spanning over a decade. Known for her foxy and crazy persona combined with an unorthodox wrestling style, she became a fan favorite. Fox made history by winning the Divas Championship, becoming the first African-American woman to claim the title. Nowadays, she’s continuing to thrive with a successful run on the indie circuit.
After TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace’s recent debut in NXT, there has been considerable discussion about the WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling working relationship. Since then, Joe Hendry, Frankie Kazarian, and The Rascalz have appeared on NXT TV, while Charlie Dempsey and Tatum Paxley have shown up on TNA programming.
While speaking during a virtual signing for East Coast Autograph Auctions, Alicia Fox expressed interest in working with TNA Wrestling. When asked about wrestling companies she is interested in joining, she said she likes TNA and its vibe. She mentioned that Gail Kim and Tommy Dreamer are over there, and it seems like a good place to go and get in the zone.
“Any of them (Fox responded when asked if there are wrestling companies she’s interested in joining).”
“But TNA, I like TNA. I like their vibe over there… And Gail’s over there, (Tommy) Dreamer’s over there… It seems just, like, a good one, a good place to go. Get in the zone there.”
Nevertheless, fans are happy to see Alicia Fox having a great time in the independent circuit, so we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for the former WWE Superstar, as a run in TNA could be beneficial for her.
