WWE NXT July 9, 2024 Preview: Confirmed Matches, Start Time and How to Watch

The July 9th edition of WWE NXT will deal with the fallout from last week’s show and also build towards future storylines. Naturally, fans are incredibly excited for their weekly dose of NXT action.

This week’s episode of NXT will be held at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, FL, and will be airing live at 8 pm Eastern time slot on the USA Network and there’s a ton of action that fans can look forward to. This episode of WWE NXT will address the fallout from the NXT Heatwave event.

The most significant aftermath involves the change in the NXT Championship. Ethan Page captured the title in a fatal 4-way match after Trick Williams’ Trick Knee inadvertently knocked him on top of Je’Von Evans, leading to the pinfall.

Another major storyline is Wes Lee’s latest setback in his quest for the NXT North American Championship. After losing another title shot, he asked for time to reflect on his future and promised to address his next steps on Tuesday.

Tony D’Angelo responded to Lexis King’s callout by granting him a title shot at the NXT Heritage Cup this week. The OC’s Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will continue their NXT run by facing OTM’s Lucien Price and Bronco Nima.

Karmen Petrovic and Arianna Grace, who teamed up to defeat Jacy Jayne and Jasmyn Nyx on the Heatwave pre-show, will now go head-to-head in a singles match on NXT. Additionally, Gallus will have a tough challenge as they take on newcomers Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.
