The aftermath of the NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event was on full display on the July 9 edition of WWE NXT, setting the tone for an exciting line-up for next week’s edition of the show.

Following Chase U’s impressive showing at Heatwave, Ridge Holland requested a huge match for his cohort, Duke Hudson. He is now set to battle the dominant Oba Femi for his NXT North American Championship.

After the unhinged Brooks Jensen worked out things with General Manager Ava, nearly escaped release from the company, and was welcomed back to the NXT family, he immediately caused havoc by attacking Je’Von Evans backstage. Now, the two will square off in a one-on-one bout next week on NXT.

Furthermore, as Wes Lee looked to put things to an end in his wrestling career following his crushing defeat at NXT Heatwave, he was reunited with his former cohorts, TNA’s Rascalz and the trio are now set to battle the dangerous alliance of Gallus next week.
