Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan were left stunned at the end of the July 8 edition of Monday Night RAW. However, right before the dreams turned into a Nightmare, both WWE superstars had something to celebrate.
Morgan and Dominik were scheduled to battle WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega in a mixed tag team match. Liv Morgan got the match made official after she inadvertently cost Dominik Mysterio a singles match against Rey last week on RAW.
The action-packed, thrilling encounter in the ring was a sight for witness for the audience in attendance. In the final moments of the bout, Liv Morgan intervened, which led to Rey Mysterio tripping off the top rope and allowing Dominik to hit the frog splash for the win.
The current WWE Women’s World Champion took to her X to congratulate Dominik on finally being able to pin his father and labelling him ‘The Real Daddy of the Mysterio Family.’
“You finally beat your deadbeat dad ! I’m happy for you and I’m so proud of you 🥹You are the REAL daddy of the Mysterio family @DomMysterio35 ✨.”
Right after their victory, as Morgan and Mysterio were about to seal their win with a kiss, Rhea Ripley made her shocking return to WWE to confront them. With Mami back in the mix, it will be interesting to see this storyline unfold in the coming weeks.
