Joe Hendry shocked everyone when he showed up as an entrant in the #1 contender battle royal a few weeks ago. The TNA star is on his way to doing big things, and this time he is coming back to NXT.
Hendry was spotted at the end of NXT Heatwave, right after Ethan Page won the NXT Title without pinning Trick Williams. Fans expected Henry, and they can keep saying his name, because he’s likely to appear.
WWE fans noticed Joe Hendry pop up in the middle of NXT’s commercial during RAW this week. That was quite a fantastic Easter egg for what is to come, because he is in the building tonight. On Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Joe Hendry is at NXT this week.
“Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Joe Hendry is at tonight’s show, and was at rehearsals. As of this evening he was planned to wrestle, possibly in the main event. Please be cognizant of those who wish to avoid spoilers (that means you, engagement accounts).”
We will have to see what Joe Hendry does in NXT. Ethan Page is a former TNA star, so odds are they could have something to do with each other. Only time will tell how things pan out for this ongoing storyline.
