Eddie Kingston had a solid performance at NJPW Resurgence but he ended up suffering a significant leg injury that will unfortunately sideline him for an extended period. During his hiatus, he has now confirmed that he underwent surgery for his injury.

It was revealed that that “The Mad King” suffered legitimate knee injury during his match at NJPW Resurgence. Subsequent medical evaluations confirmed the severity of the injury.

It was then reported that Eddie Kingston was set to undergo surgery for his leg injury on July 8th. Eddie Kingston took to his Instagram today and confirmed that he underwent the required surgery as he uploaded a photo of himself at the hospital, making it clear it was done.

”Well it’s done. So what up !”

We had also reported that Eddie Kingston will be out of action well into next year after he underwent surgery. Regardless, we wish Eddie Kingston a speedy recovery and hope he makes it back as soon as possible, as fans certainly miss him.
