Punk then thanks John Cena on his impending retirement from in-ring action and says while he doesn’t know what the future holds, he hopes to share the ring one more time with Cena. Punk then says Cena is not here, but neither is Drew McIntyre due to his suspension. Punk then sends us to a video showing McIntyre hijacking the Money in the Bank post-show and attacking referees and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. Punk then says there are consequences to McIntyre’s actions and this isn’t the first time McIntyre messed things up. Punk then says that he is the consequences to McIntyre’s actions and McIntyre was unable to keep his promise to walk out of Money in the Bank as World Heavyweight Champion. Punk then says he made a promise to keep that from happening, but unlike McIntyre, he kept his promise. Punk then reveals that McIntyre was fined $25,000 for what he did at Money in the Bank, but McIntyre was fined $50,000 for his actions. Punk then demands that RAW General Manager Adam Pearce lift McIntyre’s suspension so he can get his hands on him, no matter if it’s a match, in the ring, in the parking lot, or in the crowd.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Rollins sees Punk sitting with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee at the announce desk and says now Punk wants to sit on the sidelines. Rollins then invites Punk to get in the ring and mocks him by asking if he’s afraid that he’s going to beat him. Punk then slowly gets in the ring and reminds Rollins of what happened the last time they were in the ring together. Punk then tells Rollins to watch what he says next.
Rollins then asks Punk why actions have consequences for everyone except for Punk himself. Rollins then asks Punk why he stuck his nose in his business and Punk clarifies that he was handling his business rather than Rollins’ business. Punk then says he would think Rollins would understand as a husband and a father and he will get his pound of flesh with McIntyre running around wearing his bracelet with his wife and dog’s names on it. Punk then apologizes to Rollins and he can’t be that sorry. Rollins then tells Punk that he always has an excuse and says that he’s simply gaslighting. Rollins then says Punk has never apologized for anything in his life, but he’s the dumbest smart dude he’s met in his entire life. Rollins then says he was willing to let Punk’s selfishness slide until Saturday when he cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins then says that being World Heavyweight Champion is the most important thing to him in the wrestling business, then says that now it’s time to take something from Punk like he did to him. Rollins then promises to keep Punk from taking his pound of flesh from McIntyre, then says when Punk is cleared, he won’t be able to say “Drew McIntyre” before he puts him back on the shelf.
