The landscape of Monday Night RAW has become tormenting for New Day members Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston ever since they became prime targets for the notorious Final Testament faction led by Karrion Kross.

For weeks, Kross has been trying to drive friction between Kingston and Woods, leading to some assaults and multiple run-ins between the two sides. Moreover, Kross even laid a huge beatdown on Kofi Kingston last week on RAW after his match with Xavier Woods.

On the July 8 edition of Monday Night RAW, WWE commentator Michael Cole announced that Kofi Kingston was injured after Kross’s heinous attack last week. He revealed that Kingston suffered an AC joint sprain but provided no further details on his return. Furthermore, Kross stated that New Day was dead, citing Kingston’s injury, and once attempted to lure Xavier Woods in a vignette that followed.

With Karrion Kross and The Final Testament seemingly taking out Kofi Kingston and leaving Xavier Woods on his own, it seems that they might succeed in corrupting Woods to join their side and leave the power of positivity behind.
