WWE’s Money in the Bank event in Toronto concluded in just over two and a half hours, delivering a packed and satisfying show for fans. In contrast, AEW’s events are known for their longer durations, a difference Triple H highlighted.
During the Money in the Bank press conference, Triple H fielded questions from the media, addressing various topics and skillfully avoiding one about Vince McMahon’s legal issues.
At one point, while commenting on the length of his press conference segment, Triple H took a subtle jab at AEW without directly mentioning the company. He referred to “seven-hour pay-per-views” and expressed his relief when they finally end.
“Sometimes I feel like I’m in the main event of one of those seven-hour pay-per-views, dreading for it to get over.”
AEW’s lengthy pay-per-view events are well-known, and it’s clear that Triple H is aware of this trend. It remains to be seen if he will make any further remarks suggesting he is monitoring AEW’s content.
