Pat McAfee made his NXT debut against Adam Cole, as he was engaged in feud with Cole back in 2020. The two had some solid matches against one another but they haven’t really interacted much since Cole left for AEW back in 2021. With that said, Mcafee reunited his feud with Cole on the occasion of his birthday.

Their in-ring battles showed off their intense chemistry and solidified a memorable rivalry. After taking a break from WWE television, Pat McAfee returned as a commentator, lending his unique presence to both RAW and SmackDown broadcasts.

Meanwhile, Adam Cole departed WWE that same year, making a significant debut at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view in 2021. Despite the passage of time since their fierce rivalry, neither of them truly forgot each other.

On the occasion of Adam Cole’s 35th birthday, Pat McAfee took to Twitter and uploaded a birthday post directed towards Cole, as he called Adam Cole a scumbag and hoped he has a terrible birthday and include a GIF of McAfee’s face on Adam Cole’s body.

”I heard that scumbag @AdamColePro turned another year older. I, like many, hope the day was absolutely terrible. 🗣🗣 CHEERS”

It is quite clear that Pat McAfee and Adam Cole will have pure disdain for each other and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. Regardless, we’ll have to see if they ever meet up with each other again someday.

What are your thoughts on Pat McAfee’s birthday message to Adam Cole and their ongoing rivalry? How do you feel about the potential for them to meet up again in the ring, whether in WWE or AEW? Share your opinions and predictions in the comments below!
