Jim Ross Confirms Health Status After Recent Emergency Room Visit

Jim Ross has dedicated decades of his life to the business and remains an integral part of AEW. Recently, he has been dealing with health issues, including a visit to the ER. Ross has now provided an update on his health, reassuring fans about his condition.

Earlier this year, Jim Ross inked one-year deal with the company and has been part of every major AEW pay-per-view since then and that includes the company’s latest event, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

While speaking on Grilling JR, Jim Ross was asked about his health status after the recent visit to the ER. Jim Ross shared that he had a respiratory infection, which caused shortness of breath, but he managed to recover. He mentioned the convenience of living just a few minutes from the hospital in Jacksonville Beach.

It had been a challenging week for him, having recently returned from Oklahoma where he spent some time in the hospital. Now back in Jacksonville, he noted how busy he has been, enjoying staying occupied as it makes him feel like he is contributing.

”I had a respiratory infection and had to deal with shortness of breath, but I got past it. Living just a few minutes from the hospital in Jacksonville Beach was helpful. It’s been a challenging week, having just returned from Oklahoma where I spent time in the hospital. Now, I’m back in Jacksonville, as you can see from my backdrop. I like being busy and feel insecure if I’m not contributing to my cause, so I keep myself occupied. Despite everything, I had a good time in Long Island.”

Jim Ross also made it clear he is not a fan of AEW pay-per-views being too long. Regardless, it is good to know that good ol’ JR is healthy again as he is finally able to do what he loves most.
