WWE has a lot planned for Money in the Bank, and fans could be in for a few big surprises, including a potential return to television, even if it’s just a one-off appearance.

Sean Ross Sapp reported that a Fightful reader mentioned seeing John Cena in Toronto today, ahead of WWE Money in the Bank. However, it is unclear if he is scheduled to appear on tonight’s show in any capacity.

Efforts to reach out to WWE for confirmation have not clarified whether Cena will be on the show or if he is in town for official WWE business. Cena made a notable appearance at last year’s Money in the Bank in London but has not been seen on WWE TV since Raw after WrestleMania.

Whether or not John Cena makes an appearance at Money in the Bank remains to be seen. If he does, it would be a significant surprise and raise questions about the context and purpose of his return. Fans are left wondering how he might be integrated into the event.
