WWE presented Money in the Bank in front of a packed Toronto crowd, delivering a night full of action. The Men’s Money in the Bank match was a highlight, offering much to unpack.

The match featured Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, Chad Gable, LA Knight, and Drew McIntyre competing for a men’s championship match contract. Drew McIntyre had made it clear that if he won, he intended to cash in the briefcase on the same night.

The match was intense, with many high spots. Andrade impressed the crowd with a reverse Spanish fly off the ropes onto Carmelo Hayes onto a ladder laid across the mat, eliciting “si!” chants from the fans.

Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso faced off, prompting “CM Punk” chants from the crowd, as fans anticipated the Second City Saint’s return.

Chad Gable turned up the intensity, suplexing Drew McIntyre and Carmelo Hayes, then hitting Andrade with a suplex through a ladder. The crowd responded with “You still suck” chants directed at Gable.

LA Knight and Gable squared off, with Knight delivering a neckbreaker onto a ladder. Later, more CM Punk chants erupted as McIntyre powerbombed Gable onto a ladder propped against the turnbuckle.

LA Knight held down McIntyre as Jey Uso hit an Uso Splash on him, but alliances were fleeting. Jey and Knight climbed the ladder simultaneously, trading punches as the crowd chanted along, until Carmelo Hayes tipped the ladder over.

Hayes and Carmelo climbed together, but Knight pulled at Andrade. Andrade then executed a sunset flip powerbomb on Hayes through a ladder bridged against the ropes. Chad Gable appeared and delivered a German suplex to Knight through a ladder bridged between the ring and the announce table.

Just as Chad Gable was about to win, Jey Uso took the ladder away, leaving Gable hanging until he had to let go. Uso hit a spear and grabbed the briefcase, but McIntyre threw a ladder, hitting him in the face.

With everyone else down, Drew McIntyre pulled down the briefcase to become Mr. Money in the Bank.

It will be interesting to see how long McIntyre holds onto the briefcase, as he stated he plans to cash in tonight. Traditionally, the briefcase holder waits for the perfect moment, but under Triple H’s leadership, this could change. An early cash-in or a new strategy might be in play.
