CM Punk has been out of action with a triceps injury since before WrestleMania 40. He recently returned to television, interfering with Drew McIntyre’s championship aspirations, but he has not yet been medically cleared to wrestle. However, he appears ready to return.

During the press conference after Money in the Bank, CM Punk addressed his potential return to the ring. When asked about his comeback, Punk was candid.

Punk admitted that he feels great and is eager to return, but emphasized that medical clearance involves thorough procedures to ensure his readiness.

“I feel great, and I’m ready to go, but there are things in place to protect me from myself.”

Despite not being fully cleared, Punk participated in the action at Money in the Bank, delivering an attack on Drew McIntyre. Although Punk did not take any damage during the incident, his involvement suggests he is close to being ready for a full return to the ring.

A match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk seems inevitable, given Punk’s repeated interference in McIntyre’s title pursuits.
