It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! The post-AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door episode of Collision will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the July 6, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with a video package recapping Daniel Garcia getting attacked by MJF after he challenged AEW International Champion “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay for his International Title on Dynamite.
We then head inside the Landers Center as MJF’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring as Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcomes us to the show.
MJF calls for his music to be cut as the fans boo him. MJF says that everyone in the building is in bread and stupid as the fans begin a you suck chant. MJF then tells the fans to keep their mouths shut. MJF then says Daniel Garcia is nothing more than a pawn. MJF then says he is the biggest star in AEW. MJF then says that he was always going to break Garcia’s neck. MJF then calls Garcia a make a wish kid at best. MJF then says that he offered Garcia a match at All In against the greatest wrestler that has ever lived. MJF then says that Garcia will never wrestle again. MJF then says he is here to talk to the fans. MJF then tells the production truck to roll the clip. A video is then shown from the August 2nd, 2023 Dynamite, where MJF is talking about emotional rejection disorder and when he was bullied as a jewish kid.
MJF then says he opened up to the fans and it would tear his heart out if they turned his back on them. MJF then says he changed for the fans and broke his body for the fans. MJF then says his best friend stabbed him in the back and Samoa Joe stole his title. MJF then says after Worlds End he is watching Dynamite and the fans were chanting thank you Joe. MJF then says when he was doing physical therapy the fans cheered that talentless hack Will Ospreay. MJF then says what he did to Garcia it was not personal, but the fans and everything in AEW sucks. MJF then says the only way to fix this garbage company is with him on top. MJF then asks the fans if they like Will Ospreay. MJF then says that Ospreay can’t help the company like he can. MJF then says Ospreay is a child and doesn’t care about ticket sales. MJF then says Ospreay only cares about Meltzer. MJF then calls out Ospreay, saying Ospreay is a billy goat, but before MJF can finish, Ospreay’s music hits, although Ospreay doesn’t come out. MJF then says Ospreay is not coming because he is a coward just like the fans. MJF then says his name is Maxwell Jacob and as the fans begin to say his name, he tells the fans they had their chance and to shut their mouths.
We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing Kyle O’Reilly, “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe. Kyle says he is bummed out. Mark then asks if Lexy is bummed out. Mark then says he is not bummed out and they are in one of the most historical cities in wrestling.
We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a Trios Match.
The match starts off with Kyle and Jamison. Kyle slaps Jameson. Jameson then takes down Kyle. Mark is in the ring and then grabs the savage sauce container and drinks it. Mark then takes down Jameson. Kyle then drinks and gets fired up. Mark then takes down Boulder as Bronson drops Mark with a clothesline. Kyle then takes down both Bronson and Boulder, but Jameson hits him from behind. Bronson then lands hard on Kyle and covers him for only a two count. Boulder then works on Kyle in the corner. Kyle then crawls and tags in Mark Briscoe who chops Bronson with kung fu moves. Mark then drops Bronson with a forearm. Mark then drop kicks Jameson off the apron. Mark then tags in Cassidy as the fans go crazy. Cassidy is up on the top and lands on Boulder and then DDT’s boulder. Cassidy then goes for an orange punch on Bronson, but is caught. Bronson then picks up Cassidy but he counters. Mark then goes over the top taking out Boulder and Jameson on the outside. Cassidy then nails Bronson with an orange punch to get the win for his team.

After the match, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven want to enter the ring, but Roderick Strong stops them.
We then get a video vignette of AEW TNT Champion Jack Perry talking about how he was the challenger to the first-ever TNT Champion. Perry then says tonight he is paid in full and wants to give the opportunity to someone. Perry then says the opportunity is to sacrifice everything and take it from him, but if they don’t succeed, then he will sacrifice them.
We then get a video package of the AEW World Title Match with Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door.
We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing “Hangman” Adam Page about his win against Jeff Jarrett in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Page says it doesn’t matter what the EVP’s think. Page then says he knows why he is here. Page then says he is going to burn through the rest of tournament and right a wrong and burn his world to the ground. Lexy then asks him about Jay White and Page walks off with an evil look in his eyes as Lexy looks scared.
We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Storm placing Adora in a headlock. Adora then gets out of the hold and tosses Storm against the ropes. Adora then tries to knock Storm off her feet. Adora then finally drops Storm, but Storm comes back and drops Adora and covers her for a two count. Adora then picks up Storm and locks up her legs and bends her. Adora then grabs the arms of Storm and twists them. Adora then rolls up Storm, but the champ kicks out at two. Storm then comes back and hits Adora with a shotgun drop kicks, sending her to the floor. Storm then grabs the mic and asks for a standing ovation as the fans cheer and stand. Storm then drops Adora in the corner with a backstabber. Adora then comes back with a backbreaker on the champion as the referee checks on her. Adora then picks up Storm as she tries to fight back. Both women then exchange shots. Storm then winds up her hand, but Adora counters with a German Suplex on Storm and covers her for only a two count. Storm then nails Adora and hits a hip attack on her. Storm then covers Adora, but Adora kicks out at two. Both women then slug it out with forearm blows. Storm then headbutts Adora, then out of nowhere Storm drops Adora with a storm zero and covers her for the win.

After the match, Mariah May and Toni Storm hug. Luther then looks on as May and Storm walk to the back.
We then get a video package on Willow Nightingale entering the Women’s Owen Hart Tournament, hyping up her upcoming match against Mariah May in the finals set to take place this Wednesday on Dynamite.
We then head to the back with Christian Cage and The Patriarchy. Cage says their pursuit of the AEW Trios Titles was never personal, but Jay White made it personal. Cage then claims White entered the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament as an exit strategy to get out of Bullet Club Gold. Cage then says he’s gonna do Jay a favor and take the AEW Trios Titles off of him and make them the most prestigious titles in the company and pave his way to become the new AEW World Champion. Cage then says people are tired of watching Jay White contently tread water and people want to see The Switchblade that people thought they were going to get when he signed with the company. Cage then calls in Kip Sabian, who was standing close by. Sabian says he just lost his father. Cage then says Sabian should be happy that his father wasn’t around to see what a disappointment Sabian turned out to be. Cage then had Killswitch beat up Sabian off-screen.
AEW TNT Champion “The Scapegoat” Jack Perry makes his way down to the ring for his open challenge. The Jurassic Express’ music then hits and Marko Stunt makes his way down to the ring to answer Perry’s open challenge.
The match starts off with Stunt headbutting Perry and then kicking him, but Perry comes back with a huge clothesline. Perry then tells Marko he sucks and then punches him and slams his head on the mat. Perry then picks up Marko as Marko hits Perry in the gut, but Perry chops him down and then picks him and chops him down again. Perry then sends Stunt to the ropes. Perry then catches Stunt and tosses him face first on the second turnbuckle. Perry then covers Stunt, but Stunt kicks out at two. Perry then kicks Stunt, telling him to come on. Perry then picks Stunt up, but Stunt rolls up Perry for only a two count. Stunt is up on the ropes and comes down, but Perry catches him and tosses him into the turnbuckle. Perry then follows it up with a running knee for the win.

After the match, Perry celebrates his win and rubs the title on the face of Stunt.
We then get a video vignette of the House of Black’s Malakai Black and Brodie King. Black says they don’t have any feelings about Buddy Matthews. Black then says revenge is an unbalanced scale. King then says even though they feel nothing, Christian Cage will feel everything.
We then get a video package on Blackpool Combat Club’s “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson and PAC featuring their Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Match from this past Wednesday’s Dynamite. The video package also hypes up the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Finals between Bryan Danielson and the winner of Jay White and “Hangman” Adam Page.
We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Claudio grabbing Mortos and taking him down. Mortos is back up and has Claudio cinched in, but Claudio counters with a drag arm twist. Mortos then tries to take Claudio down with a shoulder block. Claudio then calls for both of them to try and take each other down. Both of them run the ropes as Mortos takes Claudio down. Claudio then comes back and hits Mortos with a backbreaker and follows its up with a big stomp. Mortos then has Claudio in the corner and scoops up Claudio and slams him. Mortos then covers Claudio, but Claudio kicks out at two. Mortos then charges at Claudio and leaps, but Claudio moves out of the way and goes over the ropes, taking out the cameraman. Claudio then jumps over the ropes and takes out Mortos who is favoring his right knee. Mortos then sends Claudio down and the action is back in the ring. Claudio then sends Mortos into the ring post. Claudio then picks up Mortos and slams him down.
Claudio and Mortos then exchange shots. Mortos then face plants Claudio and then as Claudio gets up, Mortos drops Claudio with a crucifix bomb. Mortos then covers Claudio for only a two count. Mortos then headbutts Claudio from the top rope. Claudio then recovers and hits Mortos with a big right arm. Mortos then comes back and spears Claudio. Mortos then covers Claudio, but Claudio kicks out at two. Both men are up on their feet. Mortos then charges at Claudio, but Claudio flips him over the ropes. Claudio then goes to the floor, high fives then fans and runs at Mortos with a big elbow. The action returns to the ring as Mortos headbutts Claudio. Mortos then hits a backbreaker on Claudio and covers him for only a two count. Mortos then goes to the top as he is caught with an uppercut by Claudio. Claudio then picks up Mortos for the big swing. Claudio then runs the ropes and takes down Mortos with a big lariat. Claudio then covers Mortos to get the win.

We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard. Lexy asks Matt how he feels. Matt says he has a concussion. Matt then says Daniel Garcia is at home and will be making a full recovery. Matt then says its good news for MJF that Daniel will be the first to get his hands on him, but MJF won’t know when it happens. Matt then says MJF won’t get the dancing Danny Garcia. Matt then takes off his glasses and says MJF is getting red death.
We then see “The Professor” Serena Deeb and she says she was surprised that Riho returned. Deeb then says she is not the same wrestler and woman she was in 2021 when she and Riho first wrestled. Deeb then challenges Riho to a future match.
We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with both women locking up as Frost pushes Riho to the corner. Riho then attempts a dropkick on Frost, but Frost moves out of the way. Frost then hits the ropes and drops Riho with a neckbreaker and covers her for only a two count. Frost then does a summersault, but Riho trips her and then connects with a knee to the head of Frost. Riho then comes off the top rope with a big crossbody on Frost and covers her for only a two count. Lady Frost has Riho is a headlock. Riho then breaks the hold and takes down Frost and connects with a knee shot. Frost then rolls to the floor. Riho then goes to the top and connects with a big crossbody on Frost on the floor, crashing into the knees of Frost. Riho then picks up Frost and rolls her back into the ring. Riho then jumps off the top with a double stomp, but Frost moves and picks up Riho and spins her around before nailing her into the mat. Frost then covers Riho for only a two count. Riho then comes back and hits Frost. Riho then runs the ropes, but is met with an elbow by Frost. Frost is up on the top rope and connects with a big moonsault on Riho. Frost then covers Riho, but Riho kicks out at two. Riho then fights Frost off and puts her in a full nelson and then drops her hard to mat with her finisher to get the win.

We then head to the back, where we see Shane Taylor Promotions have a conversation with Top Flight and Action Andretti as they will have a match on Rampage. Taylor, Andretti and Top Flight exchange words. Dante Martin then talks about how Lio Rush talked about Taylor and his group. Anthony Ogogo then tells Top Flight and Andretti this is not Chuck E. Cheese.
We then get a video package hyping up the Stampede Street Fight between Samoa Joe and FTW Champion “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
We then get the entrances of the main event, which is an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Semifinals Match.
The match starts off with White jawing at Page. Page then charges at White and tries to choke him out in the corner. Page then sends White to the floor. Page then nails White with a big right hand. White then rolls back in the ring. Page then gets back in the ring and nails White. White then fights back, but it’s not enough as Page nails White hard, dropping him to the mat. Page then picks up White and tosses him with a fallaway slam. White is on the apron. White then hits Page with a big blow. White then chops Page in the corner. White then charges at Page, but is met with a big boot. White is down and on the apron. Page then grabs White, but White uses the ropes on Page, but it has no affect as Page sends White to the floor. Page then slams the head of White agains the barricade. White is back in the ring. Page then follows White and has White locked up. Page then spins White around and drops him. Page then punches White as he rolls to the floor.
Page then shoves White down. White then charges at Page and connects with an elbow. White then hits Page with huge chops. White then gouges the eyes of Page. White then DDT’s Page and covers him for a near fall. White then picks up Page, but Page comes back and shoves White. Page then charges at White, but is met with a big elbow. White then chops Page and face plants him. White then delivers a big German Suplex on Page, who then rolls to the apron. Both men then exchange shots. Page then runs at White, but White drops him on the apron. White then picks up Page, but Page fights back. Page then picks up White and slams him on the floor. Page then picks up White and tosses him back in the ring. Page is on the apron and goes for a buckshot, but White slumps to the mat. Page is back as White rolls up him for only a two count. Page has his foot up between the ropes as White drops him with a dragon screw leg whip. Page then recovers and picks up White with a huge powerbomb and covers him for a near fall. Page then grabs the hair of White and picks him up. Page then blasts White who goes down. Page then comes in for a buckshot lariat, but White counters and drops Page for a near fall. White then attempts a bladerunner, but Page counters with a deadeye. Page then covers White. Page then takes off his belt and then chokes and whips White. Jeff Jarrett then makes his way down to the ring and grabs the belts from Page and flips Page over and tosses him. Christian Cage then makes his way down with the officials back being turned. Cage then spears White. Page is on the apron and hits White with a buckshot lariat for the win.
