Penta El Zero Miedo, one-half of the beloved Lucha Brothers alongside Rey Fenix, has been an integral part of the AEW family since its debut back in 2019. Reports suggested that his contract was set to expire this year and amidst his looming contract expiry, his future in pro wrestling has been revealed.

As reported earlier, Penta El Zero Miedo’s contract with AEW is set to expire between August and September 2024, making him a potential free agent. There is interest from WWE in acquiring his services as well.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Penta El Zero Miedo is likely to seek the best offer available at this stage of his career. With WWE reducing its event schedule, the difference in workload between promotions has lessened, making it more appealing for wrestlers to consider opportunities.

With Penta, all signs are that at this stage of his career he’d probably wind up going for the best offer, and in the end, that would be the case with most now that WWE has cut back on dates so the schedules aren’t that different.”
