WWE NXT has been producing some of the most enthralling action each week on television and is set to present its next Premium Live Event, NXT Heatwave, on July 6 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

The highly anticipated show is expected to be headlined by the Fatal-4 Way match for the NXT Title, with the champion Trick Williams defending the title against Shawn Spears, Ethan Page and Je’Von Evans, who originally was scheduled to battle Williams in a one-on-one bout after winning a 25-man battle royal a few weeks ago.

During a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Je’Von Evans was asked who he would like to have perform his entrance at NXT Heatwave should he have the opportunity. Evans revealed that he would like either 21 Savage, citing their indie connection, or Kendrick Lamar, a huge fan of his work and who recently had a reference to NXT SVP Shawn Michaels in his song.

“I’m stuck between two, Of course 21 Savage. I used to come out to Red Ops, I used it on the indies, so I would love for him to rap Red Ops when I’m coming down the ramp or something like that, and/or Kendrick Lamar. I’m a big Kendrick Lamar fan. So hopefully if we get that in the works, Kung Fu Kenny, you want to come to the E, pull up on me, and hopefully you can rap Alright or something, a little Section 80, something. Yeah, either 21 Savage or Kendrick Lamar.”
