Angel Garza has been part of the WWE family for quite a few years now but the question of him remaining with the company was a major one as his contract was set to expire this year. With that said, Garza has now confirmed he has signed a new long-term deal with WWE.
We had reported that Angel Garza’s contract was set to expire on August 1 and there were no indications that he would be signing a new deal, as fans felt he and Humberto Carrillo would leave WWE.
Angel Garza has now announced that he has signed a contract extension, committing to another three years with WWE. He revealed this during a Facebook stream on July 2, addressing speculation about his WWE future.
“No, I have not left. In fact, I just re-signed for another three years. It was an offer I straight-up could not reject, so there is that.”
Angel Garza, a member of Legado Del Fantasma, frequently teams up with his cousin Humberto Carrillo as part of their wrestling activities. Recently, both Garza and Carrillo stated that they would not be attending WWE events in Monterrey, Mexico, and Mexico City. Regardless, with Garza having signed a new deal, it’s likely Carrillo has done or will do the same soon as fans want them to stay together for a long time.
