Wrestling Stars Share Patriotic Messages on Independence Day

The wrestling world is known to be a close knitted community of wrestlers who often come together for multiple occasions. The auspicious 4th of July celebrations, being the USA’s independence day, once again brought them closer, with multiple stars sending out messages for an important landmark day in their country.

The 16-time WWE Champion John Cena, who is closing towards the end of his in-ring career, took to his X to send out his thoughts on another birthday for his beautifully imperfect American stating that, “Wishing everyone a safe fun filled fourth. Another birthday for the beautifully imperfect USA. This day is an incredible example that with an idea, passion, effort, and teamwork amazing things can happen.”

Former WWE superstar and Hollywood star Batista shared a photo on his X from his WWE days performing at the Tribute to the Troops event and being wrapped around the USA flag, stating, “Happy 4th 🇺🇸.” WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry also took to his X to share a collage of his photos wearing the proud colours of his nation saying, “Happy Fourth of July everyone. May the fourth be with you!”

RAW star Zelina Vega joined the conversation, wishing all her native Americans a safe and wonderful holiday, saying, “Have a safe and wonderful holiday, everyone! 💙” while the GM of the show, Adam Pearce raised a toast to American in a new tweet on X. New NXT star “All Ego” Ethan Page shared his wishes too for the 4th of July with an old GIF of waving two small flags and saying, “Happy 4th 🇺🇸.”

Furthermore, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) took to their X to drop a compilation video of multiple superstars and personnel sending out their messages for the 4th of July, captioned “Happy Independence Day from AEW!❤️🤍💙.”
