WrestleMania 40 was a grand spectacle for WWE, shattering every record in the history books and generating a staggering business for the global juggernaut. Not only was it one of the most successful editions of all time, but it also saw the culmination of a highly anticipated story.
The buildup to the road to WrestleMania 40 was headlined by the rivalry between Roman Reigns and his Bloodline against The People’s Choice Cody Rhodes, who almost lost out on his rightfully earned opportunity to challenge Reigns in the main event of the show.
Despite one of the biggest stars, The Rock, being brought back into the mix, the fans chose to side with The American Nightmare and led him to the main event of WrestleMania 40, where he won the Undisputed WWE Championship.
The compelling layers, intriguing storyline and captivating main event matches made WrestleMania 40 a stellar show for the ages. After basking in the glory of the event’s success, it was revealed at the end of the WrestleMania XL: Behind The Curtain documentary that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has already begun planning for The Show of Shows next year, set to take place in Las Vegas after RAW after WrestleMania 40.
With The Game and his regime already looking towards the future, it will be interesting to see what they have planned for WrestleMania 41 when the biggest show in sports entertainment invades Sin City in 2025.
