Sami Zayn has been in the spotlight ever since he ended GUNTHER’s remarkable WWE Intercontinental Championship reign at WrestleMania. Since claiming the prestigious title at The Show of Shows, Zayn has been riding a wave of momentum.
The current WWE Intercontinental Champion’s popularity extends beyond the wrestling ring and into the world of comedy. After participating in the Netflix is a Joke Fest 2024 event, he is now set to host his own comedy show, “Sami Zayn & Friends Do Toronto,” on Thursday, July 4, at 8 p.m. ET.
The event will take place at The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Canada, as part of WWE’s upcoming PLE festivities for Money in the Bank. However, it seems that his old foe, Johnny Knoxville, has some plans up his sleeve to ruin Sami’s memorable evening while himself being in town.
The Underdog from the Underground took to his X that Johnny Knoxville was supposedly stalking him after posting a photo a minute later after Sami Zayn posted a snapshot of the venue. But he rest assured the fans that Knoxville has been banned from the building, and they could still get their tickets for the show.
“I posted the picture on the left 66 minutes ago. JOHNNY KNOXVILLE POSTED THE PICTURE ON THE RIGHT EXACTLY ONE MINUTE LATER. Don’t worry #Toronto, this STALKER is banned from the building, you can feel safe getting tickets for tonight if you haven’t yet: https://tinyurl.com/yck9j2ff.”
With his involvement in the world of comedy, Sami Zayn continues to expand his influence, showcasing his versatility outside the wrestling world. Hopefully, that would not have Johnny Knoxville cause any trouble.
As far as inside the ring goes, Zayn is scheduled to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against the incomparable Bron Breakker, who is looking to clinch his first major title on the main roster at WWE Money in the Bank.
