Ricochet Expected to Join AEW Soon After WWE Exit

Ricochet, a mainstay on WWE television for years, recently parted ways with the company, and it now appears he is expected to join AEW sooner rather than later.

As previously reported, Ricochet’s WWE contract was nearing its end in the summer of 2024. On July 1st, Ricochet officially became a free agent as his WWE contract expired.

According to Fightful Select, Ricochet is likely heading to AEW, with talks reportedly well underway. The report noted significant movement indicating Ricochet’s imminent arrival in AEW, and he is expected to join the company soon.

Ricochet’s agent was recently seen backstage at AEW and has been actively involved in negotiations between Ricochet and AEW. It’s worth noting that Ricochet’s agent also represents several talents across both WWE and AEW.

“Ricochet is expected in the company soon, and there was some interesting movement on that. Ricochet’s agent was backstage at AEW this week, and we’re told had been leading the subsequent talks between the two sides. Ricochet’s agent also represents a number of other talent across WWE and AEW.”

Will Ospreay has also addressed Ricochet potentially joining AEW, expressing his excitement and anticipation. Fans are eagerly awaiting Ricochet’s debut in Tony Khan’s company.
