Damian Priest has been dominating Monday Night RAW as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the past few months, but he accepted a concerning stipulation for his Money in the Bank match. In light of this stipulation, Priest has now revealed why he accepted it in the first place.

On July 6th at the WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, Damian Priest will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Seth Rollins. As per Rollins’ conditions, if Priest loses, he must leave The Judgment Day.

While speaking in a recent interview with The Indian Express, Damian Priest opened up about the upcoming match with The Visionary. He admitted feeling the weight of the stipulation but views the match as a pivotal chance to cement his status as the face of Monday Night RAW.

Confident in his abilities, the Judgment Day member assured that he is fully prepared to defeat Rollins, asserting that he wouldn’t have accepted the stipulation if he wasn’t sure of his victory.

“So, I’m confident and that’s why I was able to, you know, make that gentlemen’s agreement, where, you know, if I lose, fine, I leave The Judgment Day. But I don’t think I’m gonna lose or else I, you know, I wouldn’t have made that bet. It’s pressure, you know. It’s Seth Rollins. He’s one of the greatest to ever do this and he’s still going strong. And I feel like this is the perfect opportunity that if I’m gonna prove myself, if I’m gonna say that I’m the guy now to be the face of Monday Night RAW, I have to beat Seth Rollins. I have to be able to overcome that mountain because he is the guy that we look up to.

Like, we think Seth Rollins is the man, right? Like, he’s the best of the best. So, if that’s the case, I need to prove myself against him for me. I need to know that I can not just hang with him, because I’ve done that in the past, I need to know I can beat him because it’s my time now. So, there’s a lot of pressure but I feel like I do very well under the pressure. So, I’m more excited for this match than anything.”

We will have to wait and see whether Damian Priest will be able to defeat Seth Rollins at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event on July 6th, as the possibility of leaving the Judgment Day simply feels impossible to many fans.
