Cody Rhodes Explains Why Dusty Rhodes Belongs on Pro Wrestling Mount Rushmore

There are many ongoing discussions in pro wrestling, and the topic of Mount Rushmore picks remains popular one. Cody Rhodes has addressed this topic multiple times and is always ready to discuss his favorites in pro wrestling.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has shared his ‘Mount Rushmore’ of professional wrestling, which includes his father, Dusty Rhodes.

Different people’s ‘Mount Rushmore’ of wrestling has been a frequently debated topic over the years, with varying answers depending on who is asked. Recently, the Undisputed WWE Champion was asked to name his Mount Rushmore, sparking much discussion.

Speaking to The Pivot Podcast, Cody Rhodes named his Mount Rushmore, featuring John Cena, Ric Flair, his current rival The Rock, and his father Dusty Rhodes.

“My Mount Rushmore just from a feeling is… I can’t believe I’m going to say this because he’s not a fan of mine and I’m not a fan of his but one of the heads is going to be The Rock.

“In addition to that it’s going to be John Cena. It’s going to be the Nature Boy Ric Flair, then it’s going to be my dad.”

“The cool thing about putting dad in Mount Rushmore is I can always make an argument. If people want to get into these ‘objective’ conversations, I’m like ‘cool take a look at the show now.’ His footprints are there more than anyone else’s. Kevin Owens is a Dusty kid, Bayley, champion currently, that’s a Dusty kid, myself, his literal kid.”

We will have to see what the American Nightmare does with the rest of his Undisputed World Title reign. He has a lot of potential to become an all-time great and has his “Cody Crybabies” behind him.

The Rock has heavily teased that he wants to make his return to WWE at WrestleMania 41, and Cody Rhodes seems to be his pick for an opponent. We will have to see how the road to Mania next year pans out for everyone involved.
