Superstar Calls Out WWE NXT for Botching Match Promotion

WWE will sometimes need to change things up, because even a multi-billion dollar company under Endeavor’s umbrella can make mistakes. Ahead of the July 2 edition of WWE NXT, WWE had to correct an announcement due to an incorrect star being listed for an upcoming match.

Gallus is set to take on Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe this week. Their feud escalating to a highly anticipated matchup set for the July 2 episode of NXT. NXT is pumped to promote it, but they didn’t do so perfectly.

WWE made an error in their announcement, listing the wrong members of Gallus for the contest. This mistake prompted Joe Coffey to address the issue on social media. On July 2, Joe Coffey posted a video clarifying the error, stating:

“It’s not Me btw. It’s @m_coffey90 @WWENXT Poor show you from you. Usual from the usual.”

WWE quickly responded to the correction, ensuring fans that the right members of Gallus would be competing in the match. This clarification was necessary to maintain the integrity of the promotion and to prepare fans for the correct showdown.
