TNA Wrestling is gearing up for what they hope will be a memorable year, despite the departure controversy surrounding Scott D’Amore. In light of TNA gaining momentum, it appears a prominent name has re-signed with the company.
Gia Miller has committed to an additional three years with TNA Wrestling, where she has served as a backstage interviewer since 2019. While speaking to Denise Salcedo, Miller revealed her dedication to the promotion and she also emphasized her gratitude for the opportunity to grow professionally within TNA.
“Not only is it the place that has raised me and has grown me so much from literally nothing, it is such an incredible place to work. The people that are involved in that company that you see on-screen and then that you don’t see on-screen are all so great and really have become my family. I want to stay there until the wheels fall off, baby.”
Miller noted that TNA is the place where she has developed from the ground up in her role. Coming from a background in broadcast journalism, TNA provided her with her first significant opportunity and has become like family to her.
Reflecting on TNA’s evolution into a new era, Miller appreciated the fact that she is being valued and included in the company’s ongoing growth and success. She emphasized that being a part of TNA is a dream come true for her as both a wrestling and TNA fan, and she does not take the opportunity for granted.
“I’m so grateful that as things change and as things grow, we became TNA. It’s a whole new era and they want me to still be a part of this whole new era. We’re constantly growing and constantly getting bigger and better, and the fact that they want me around for that…I have even had people say, you know, you have been a part of that, a part of that process. It’s not lost on me how major that is.
And as a wrestling fan, as a TNA fan, that is, just, otherworldly. I really don’t take it for granted.”
Miller isn’t the only longstanding TNA name who re-signed with the company this year, Ace Austin and former Impact World Champion Steve Maclin have also inked new deals with the company. Regardless, fans are glad to know Miller will be sticking with the company for the long run and that’s all that matters.
