Mercedes Mone Reveals “Disgusting” Ring Gear Designed For Her By Husband Mikadze

Mercedes Mone has been on the run of a lifetime ever since she famously walked out of WWE in 2022, after claiming that she did not belong there towards the end of her run and became an integral part of their rival company, AEW. However, it was the global juggernaut that made her a worldwide phenomenon as a wrestling star.

Speaking of wrestling, not only has it given Mercedes significant opportunities to emerge as a top-tier attraction, but it also helped her meet Sarath Ton, also known as Mikadze, a veteran WWE costume designer who she married a few years ago and has designed multiple ring outfits for her as well.

During recent interview with HOT97, The CEO revealed the most disgusting ring gear Sarath Ton made for her. Mercedes stated that it was a WWE Money in the Bank event. Sarath presented her with a lupus green, yellow, white and navy ring gear that she absolutely hated and yelled at him for the same.

Moreover, Mercedes Mone also revealed that the outfit was so bad, according to her, that she did not feel confident wearing it and even botched her entrance in the process.

“I was p*ssed off, I was mad. It was Money in the Bank, he made me this disgusting, ugly, lupas green, yellow, white and navy together. I legit cried and screamed ‘I’m not gonna wrestle good, this makes me look ugly, I hate it’ and I made him feel so bad, I’m like ‘This is not what I said, all this stuff’ and honestly, it didn’t make me feel confident when I went out there. I remember doing my entrance and I slipped a little bit. I was like so mad.”

On the other hand, Mercedes Mone is coming off a huge win by defeating Stephanie Vaquer at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door to become both the TBS and NJPW Strong champion in ‘Winner Take All’ match.

However, her victory was upstaged with the return of the AEW original, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D, possibly planting the seeds for a future feud between the two top stars of Tony Khan’s promotion.
