Kelly Kelly, who rose to prominence in WWE’s women’s division starting in the company’s iteration of ECW, became a Women’s Champion during her tenure. Though she is no longer an active member of WWE, a recent tease suggests she may be considering coming out of retirement, potentially ahead of NXT this week.

Since transitioning from full-time competition, Kelly has made occasional appearances for WWE. In fact, she took part in three women’s Royal Rumble matches, with her most recent appearance being in 2022. On top of that, she competed in a Battle Royal at the all-women’s Evolution pay-per-view in 2018.

Wendy Choo recently took to Twitter and uploaded a post about NXT Superstar Carlee Bright set to square off against her on NXT this week, as she called Bright Kelly Kelly’s daughter.

”say goodnight to kelly kelly’s daughter”

Kelly Kelly definitely saw her name being mentioned and responded to the tweet, as she hinted at coming out of retirement ahead of the July 2nd episode of NXT, even going so far as to tag Carlee Bright.

”Ohhhhhh does mother need to come out of retirement??? @CarleeBrightWWE let me know girl I got you!!! 😉”

Kelly Kelly has already expressed her desire to return to WWE, so we will have to wait and see whether she will end up coming out of retirement for a one-off match, possibly on NXT television.
