WWE has many incredible professional wrestlers in its deep roster, but it is simply not possible to have every single talent take part in WWE shows all the time. In fact, WWE decided to snub Berto and Angel Garza from the upcoming Mexican live events and Berto has now admitted that he is sad about the exclusion.
Over the past year, Los Lotharios, consisting of Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo, underwent a notable transformation after a period of underutilization on the main roster. Their journey began in September 2021 when they teamed up on RAW, later moving to NXT where they featured vignettes highlighting their grandfather, portraying him as a legendary superstar.
In December, their trajectory shifted when they aligned with Santos Escobar on Friday Night SmackDown, becoming involved in a feud with LWO for a while but the feud is long gone now.
Humberto Carrillo took to social media to inform fans that he and Angel Garza would not be appearing at the WWE live events scheduled for July 13 and July 14 in Mexico City and Monterrey. He said it was sad that they were not included in these shows but acknowledged that not everyone could be featured at every event.
“This year (like last) we will not be at the shows at Mexico City and Monterrey on July 13 and July 14. We hope to see you next time!
But it’s understandable, card is tight and the Mexican crowd wants to see other superstars as well! It’s just a little sad that so far we’re not contemplated for it. But we’ll see 🤞🏾”
We have also reported that Angel Garza’s contract will expire in August and so well Carrillo’s at the same time. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what’s next in store for the duo.
