AEW Forbidden Door was truly a memorable show from top to bottom, filled with solid in-ring action and shocking returns. However, footage has now exposed the abysmal state of their merchandise stands at Forbidden Door.

Recently, footage of a fan at the merchandise stand for the Forbidden Door pay-per-view revealed a very unfortunate sight. The fan expressed their frustration, stating that AEW had the worst merchandise selection they had ever seen for the second time in a row. They pointed out that there were only AEW-branded shirts available, with the only wrestler-specific shirt being LIJ. All the shirts were priced at $50, which they found excessive.

They also noted that the tag belts were priced at $1,000. Despite MJF’s recent return, there were no MJF shirts, nor were there any Swerve or Ospreay shirts. The fan mentioned the absence of BCC shirts and New Japan wrestler shirts, except for LIJ. They found the lack of MJF merchandise particularly disappointing.

The hoodies were priced at $75, which they found unreasonable. They emphasized that Forbidden Door was one of the biggest PPVs of the year, yet the merchandise selection lacked Elite, Kenny Omega, and Chris Jericho items.

AEW for the second time in a row, ya’ll have the worst merchandise selection I have seen in my life. Straight AEW branded shirts bro, the only wrestler’s shirt out here that’s not promotion is LIJ bro and all of these shirts are $50. Easily the worst merch selection I’ve seen. The tag belts are $1000. MJF just came back, no MJF shirts, no Swerve or Ospreay shirts. No BCC shirts, no real New Japan wrestler shirts except LIJ. No MJF merch is easily the worst like that’s insane. The hoody is $75! Bro, Forbidden Door one of the biggest PPVs all of the year and this is your merch collection bro? No Elite merch, no Kenny merch and not even any Jericho merch?

The Forbidden Door pay-per-view had stellar matches such as Will Ospreay vs Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship, Bryan Danielson vs Shingo Takagi, and yet they have failed to deliver when it comes to merchandise stands, which has been a problem for many years now. We’ll have to wait and see if AEW will eventually rectify such a glaring issue.
