Britt Baker Breaks Silence After Return at 2024 AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV

Britt Baker faced a challenging 2023 marked by injuries that largely kept her away from the television spotlight, but all that changed at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door as she returned at the show and now she has broken her silence on the matter.

At AEW Forbidden Door, Mercedes Moné clinched victory over Stephanie Vaquer in a Winner Takes All match, claiming both the TBS Championship and the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. However, Moné’s celebration was abruptly interrupted by the shocking return of Britt Baker.

Baker made her presence known and signaled her intent to challenge the newly crowned double champion in the future. Absent from the ring since September 16, 2023, Baker is now prepared to return to action and is scheduled to appear on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

While speaking in a backstage interview following her shocking return, Britt Baker was simply asked about her comeback. Baker noted that she had a lot to say, but will leave it for AEW Dynamite this week.

“I have a lot say, but I’m gonna wait and say it Wednesday night on Dynamite.”

Mercedes Mone also addressed Britt Baker’s return at the pay-per-view and sent a scathing message to D.M.D. as well. It remains to be seen what Baker will have to say on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
