AEW has a few surprises in their back pocket, undoubtedly including a debut or two. Although she hasn’t officially joined the company yet, Kamille is on her way. It’s just a matter of setting the stage.

Kamille has made big strides in professional wrestling, earning accolades across multiple companies. In 2023, she won the Lucha Libre World Cup in the women’s division with Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace at Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. Kamille also took over the NWA by securing the NWA World Women’s Championship.

During his Backstage Report podcast on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp commented on AEW’s plan for Kamille. The former NWA Women’s Champion is still on her way in, but they are preparing for her arrival.

“There has been some progress on a possible Kamille debut. When I say progress, I mean some materials prepared, some graphics and the like.”

As AEW gears up for Kamille’s debut, we’ll have to see how the landscape looks after Forbidden Door. Britt Baker just returned to spoil Mercedes Mone’s big celebration in Long Island, where she left as a double-champion with the TBS Championship and NJPW Strong Women’s Title on her shoulders.

AEW is still making plans for the future, and their women’s division could use a lot of attention. Kamille may shake things up once she finally makes her debut. Only time will tell when Tony Khan decides to pull the trigger on that.

What’s your take on Kamille coming into AEW? Do you think she would have been better off in NXT? Let us know in the comments section!
