Donovan Dijak had a notable run in NXT last year, but his transition to the main roster was cut short following the WWE Draft. He is now officially a free agent after parting ways with WWE and has responded to being removed from the roster.

Dijak’s contract was set to expire this month with no signs of renewal, and that has proven accurate. Dijak confirmed that June 28th was his final day under contract with WWE, after which he would become a free agent.

On Saturday, WWE officially confirmed Dijak’s departure by moving him from the current roster page to the alumni page. This was not really a surprise for fans whatsoever.

Dijak responded on Twitter, noting the speed of this roster update by revealing that WWE took three months to change him from his previous gimmick of T-Bar and change his brand to NXT.

“Took them 3 months to change me from T-Bar to Dijak and switch me to the NXT page btw.”

Dijak also made his first pro wrestling appearance after his WWE exit recently. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Dijak as fans definitely want to see him succeed in a big way.
