AEW fans might see Ricochet debut for the company soon, as he is set to leave WWE. However, he is not currently being considered for a significant role.

Ricochet’s WWE contract is not up yet, so he will not be able to attend Forbidden Door as a talent. While it’s uncertain if he might show up as a visitor, he doesn’t have a major All In match lined up.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that AEW has several big matches planned for All In, but a rematch between Will Ospreay and Ricochet is not one of them. According to the report, AEW has had a general outline of the top matches they want at AEW All In for quite some time, and Ricochet versus Will Ospreay is not part of those plans.

Will Ospreay is set to face Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door for the AEW World Title. The winner will defend the title against the winner of the Owen Hart Cup tournament at All In. With the Young Bucks planning to insert a mystery contestant in that tournament, it’s clear that it won’t be Ricochet, unless the plan is for him to lose the tournament.

It remains to be seen what Ricochet will do next in the pro wrestling world. He entered and exited WWE under the same name and has strong connections in AEW. How Tony Khan may integrate him into AEW’s future is still unknown.
