AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door is AEW’s next major pay-per-view and the company is making sure the show is one for the ages and something that fans should not miss at all. In fact, additional seats have now opened up for the pay-per-view.
AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door is set to take place on June 30th in the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. There is certainly a ton of hype for the show, headlined by Will Ospreay vs Swerve Strickland for the AEW Championship.
WrestleTix took to Twitter and revealed that the Forbidden Door pay-per-view has currently distributed 10,184 out of a total of 11,895, with 1,711 still remaining. It was added that several new seats were added to the venue.
According to PWInsider, local media interviews featuring MJF and Mercedes Moné have created more interest in the area. As a result, AEW is hopeful for a strong walk-up crowd for the Forbidden Door event.
We will have to wait and see whether the Forbidden Door pay-per-view will end up selling significantly more tickets as the day goes on since the show will be starting in a matter of hours.
